Reasons to try Bowen

4) Non Manipulative
The moves in Bowen are gentle - The client can expect to only be slightly aware of the procedures being administered.  It differs considerably from a conventional  massage, where muscles are manipulated along their length, because in Bowen moves are akin to plucking across muscles -  like plucking a guitar string. Such moves are sufficient to send a small electronic pulse through the fascia* of the body. The brain appears to have the ability to use these small signal as a diagnostic check and commence a rebalancing procedure if necessary.

(*Fascia is interconnecting collagen fibres that form a continual web of tissue throughout the body.)
