10) Myotonic Dystrophy

Several years ago, I met Steve (Stephen Ludbrook) at Carite’s forest in Puerto Rico and had the opportunity to receive the Bowen Technique. During my first appointment, my body subtly began to enjoy the benefits of relaxation. In the following days, as a witness, I noticed with greater enthusiasm, the vital energy of my body. For the myotonic dystrophy that I manage, this technique is a relief to my muscles and my movement.
The Bowen Technique is neither invasive or complicated in its application, but the results are phenomenal. It is your own body that begins to heal or restart, after receiving certain instructions and rest time for assimilation. On one occasion, after one of the intervals of rest, I felt my spine move on its own, as if by magic. After 2 to 3 years without receiving the Bowen Technique, I met Steve again. At that time, I was suffering from pain on my shoulders and neck, and feeling fatigue in general. Thanks to the Bowen Technique and Steve, I enjoyed my stay in Puerto Rico with relief and a lot of energy. With gratitude, I recommend the experience and benefits of this technique.
