Frequently Asked Questions
Qu 3:- Why are there "Pauses" during a Bowen Session
Typically during a Bowen Therapy session there are a number of short (two minute) pauses, where the therapist will leave the room, having completed a set of light moves.
Such pauses are a unique feature to Bowen Therapy, and are important in allowing the body to assimilate the energy flows that have been initiated by the lightly applied moves".
If a client is weak or overtaxed physically or mentally then reducing the quantity of Bowenwork and/or increasing the length of pauses, allows for a better outcome.
